In addition to offering music to grades 1-5, Miscouche School also has a band program for students in Grades 6 - 9.
The band program was started during the 2005-2006 school year. Money was raised by the Miscouche Home and School Association to help purchase instruments for a band program. The band now includes students from grades 6-9.
In May of 2007 the Miscouche Band attended the Maritime Music Festival in Halifax for the first time.
